THE STORY BEHIND OLD DUDE’S
Old Dude’s Catering was built on family, legacy, and a commitment to doing things the right way — from the kitchen to every event we serve.
Our Legacy
Old Dude’s Catering began long before it became a business. It was shaped in a kitchen where food meant care, discipline, and doing things the right way.
Grandma Thelma set the standard — cook with intention, serve with pride, and never cut corners. Those lessons became the foundation of how we operate today.
After losing Anthony in 2022, the name “Old Dude” took on deeper meaning. What was once a nickname became a commitment — to build something that reflects strength, excellence, and responsibility.
Every event, every meal, every partnership carries forward the standards we were raised on: integrity, clarity, presence, and respect for the process.
This is our legacy — not just in name, but in how we show up.
Meet Chef Sie
Owner | Founder | Chef
What began as a family tradition evolved into a disciplined craft built on consistency, bold flavor, and attention to detail. Sierra Hall is the founder and executive chef behind Old Dude’s Catering.
Raised in a kitchen where food meant connection, Sierra learned early that cooking is more than combining ingredients — it’s creating an experience. From weekly meal prep to full-service events, she approaches every client with structure, transparency, and intention.
Beyond the kitchen, Sierra is also an IT Integration Specialist, bringing organization, systems thinking, and strategy into every aspect of the business. That balance of heart and precision defines the Old Dude experience.

"Serve well. Execute with integrity. Leave every room better than it was found."
In Honor Of Ant
In 2022, we lost Anthony — affectionately known as Ant. He was more than a little brother. He was a kitchen partner, a challenger, a motivator, and the first to taste anything new.
Ant carried the nickname “Old Dude” long before this business existed. It was given to him by Uncle Kidd — a reflection of how he carried himself even in his younger years: steady, observant, and serious about doing things the right way.
He believed in showing up fully. If he cooked, it was with pride. If he spoke, it was with honesty. If he supported you, it was without hesitation.
Old Dude’s Catering is named in his honor — not just to remember him, but to carry forward his standard. We don’t rush. We don’t cut corners. We don’t serve anything we wouldn’t be proud to put his name on.
Every plate reflects the discipline, pride, and heart he embodied.
This is how we keep his legacy alive.
Our Promise
At Old Dude’s Catering, we don’t just serve meals — we uphold standards.
Our promise is simple: you will never question the care, effort, or responsibility behind what we deliver.
